Wayne Evans has been a full-time auctioneer since 1960. During this time, he has developed and maintained an excellent reputation with clients, customers, and peers. His knowledge of and dedication to the auction profession was exemplified in his being elected to the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association, where he served 3 years. He was honored with his induction into the Georgia Auctioneers Hall of Fame.

Wayne Evans founded Wayne Evans Auctioneers in 1960. Previous to its inception, Mr. Evans was in the auction business in Georgia. Mr. Evans has worked diligently to develop and maintain a full service, national auction company, offering its clients pre-sale planning, set up, complete auction and post-auction services. Wayne Evans Auction Company, Inc. has developed a client base consisting largely of municipalities throughout the southeastern United States.

Mr. Evans received his Certified Auctioneer Designation (CAI) in 1981 from the University of Indiana. Wayne Evans Auction Company was founded in 1982. The corporate office is located in Columbus, Georgia, housing the following departments: Executive Offices,Corporate Administration, On-site Coordination, Contract Compliance, Marketing, Accounting, Public Relations, Information Systems and Title Departments. In addition to the corporate office, the company currently has offices in Atlanta, GA; Tallahassee,FL; Charlotte, NC; and Sugarland, Texas (A suburb of Houston, Texas). The corporate office, has remained in Columbus, Georgia for over thirty years.
